JOB OVERVIEW
The Product & Technical Specialist is responsible for growing and maintaining an assigned customer base, as well as building trusted relationships with prospective customers. Local travel required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain relationships within existing and prospective customer base
- Act as liaison between customers and manufacturers
- Educate customer base on continuous manufacturer developments
- Reduce customer costs with product and process improvements
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Self-motivated w/ positive attitude
- Strong customer service and active listening skills
- Strong organization and attention to detail skills
- Strong time management and multi-task skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Proficient computer skills w/ the ability to learn new software
- Basic understanding of supply chain and logistics
- 1+ years of sales experience
